Nduga, Papua Highlands — A warm and spirited atmosphere was felt at Pos Koteka on Saturday (September 13, 2025) WIT, when policewomen from Operation Peace Cartenz visited to provide a human touch and uplift the morale of personnel stationed in the conflict-prone region.
During the visit, the policewomen did more than just accompany the team — they engaged in conversations, shared moments of togetherness, and offered encouragement to the officers on duty. This sense of camaraderie became an important source of motivation for those responsible for maintaining stability and security in Nduga.
The policewomen present included Policewoman Second Brigadier Yhani Febriyanti, Policewoman Second Brigadier Itri Fiadn, and Policewoman Second Brigadier Annisa Mahardika from the Special Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz, Nduga Sector. Their presence highlighted that this operation focuses not only on law enforcement but also on the human side of security efforts.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for their involvement.
“The presence of policewomen brings a unique touch to the operation. They are a source of motivation and a reminder that our mission is not only about maintaining security but also about fostering a sense of solidarity,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Similarly, Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the strategic role of policewomen in field operations.
“Their approach is often softer and more humane, which greatly helps in creating a harmonious atmosphere among personnel and within the community,” stated Chief Comm. Adarma.
The activity proceeded safely and with a strong sense of togetherness, and it is expected to inspire all members of Operation Peace Cartenz to continue safeguarding peace across Papua.
