Lanny Jaya – The Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz (ODC) has carried out psychological support activities and health checks for personnel at the Lanny Jaya Sector Post on Friday (7/12/2025). This activity took place in the waiting room of Tiom Airport, Lanny Jaya, as an effort to strengthen mental resilience and maintain the health of personnel in the field.
The psychological support program was led by Ipda Amelia Mega Kartika Kawilarang, S.Psi, as the Head of Psychology Subtask Force, and was attended by several ODC personnel. The materials provided included strengthening bonds and teamwork through activities such as pair-up games, blind singer, and cooperative circle; enhancing focus and self-motivation; as well as writing love letters to leaders, colleagues, and family members.
On the same day, a health team led by Ipda dr. Chintya Widodo conducted health examinations for the personnel at the Lanny Jaya Post. During this activity, the medical team handed over health supplies, including medicines and medical equipment, to the Sector Lanny Jaya Tindak Task Force, while also providing health services to around 18 task force members involved in Ops Damai Cartenz.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that this activity is a form of concern for personnel serving in the field.
“We not only focus on security aspects but also pay attention to the physical and psychological condition of our members. With strong mental health and maintained physical health, personnel can serve and protect the people of Papua more effectively,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that this activity also serves as moral support for personnel working in vulnerable areas.
“We want to ensure that every member feels supported, both physically and psychologically. This support is essential so they remain motivated, solid, and professional in carrying out their mission to maintain peace in Papua,” he asserted.
This series of activities is part of the commitment of the ODC Task Force to ensure the physical and mental readiness of all personnel in carrying out their duties to maintain security in the Papua region, especially in Lanny Jaya.
