Lanny Jaya – In an effort to maintain readiness and welfare of personnel in the field, the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz (ODC) carried out health and psychological support activities at Lanny Jaya Sector Post on Friday (July 12, 2025). The activity was held in the waiting room of Tiom Airport, Lanny Jaya, as part of a program to enhance the mental and physical condition of the deployed personnel.
The psychological support session was led directly by Ipda Amelia Mega Kartika Kawilarang, S.Psi, Head of the Psychology Subtask Force. The materials provided included various games and exercises aimed at strengthening solidarity, such as pair-up games, blind singer, and cooperative circle. Additionally, members were encouraged to improve focus, self-motivation, and write love letters to their leaders, colleagues, or families.
On the same day, a medical team led by Ipda dr. Chintya Widodo conducted health examinations for personnel at Lanny Jaya Post. Besides performing health checks, the medical team also handed over medicines and medical supplies as part of health support to the Lanny Jaya Task Force Battalion. Around 18 personnel received healthcare services during this activity.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, expressed that this activity demonstrates concern for the welfare of frontline personnel. “We not only focus on security aspects but also pay attention to their physical and psychological conditions. With strong mental health and physical well-being, they will be better prepared and more effective in protecting the people of Papua,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, added that this activity is also a moral support for personnel in vulnerable regions. “We want to ensure that every member feels fully supported, both in terms of health and psychology. This support is crucial so they can stay motivated, united, and professional in maintaining peace in Papua,” he emphasized.
This activity is part of the commitment of the ODC Task Force to ensure the physical and mental readiness of all personnel in carrying out their mission to maintain security and peace in Papua, particularly in Lanny Jaya
