Puncak, Indonesia – The Tribal Leader of Puncak Regency, Abelom Kogoya, has called on all residents to work together in maintaining security, supporting development, and continuing daily activities as usual in the region on Wednesday (September 3, 2025).
In his statement, Abelom Kogoya stressed the vital role of the community, local government, and security forces from both the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) in ensuring regional stability so that development initiatives can progress smoothly.
“Let us, together with the government and security forces, keep the situation stable, continue our daily routines, and support development in Puncak Regency,” he said.
He further reminded the public not to be swayed by provocations or rumors spread by certain groups seeking to disrupt peace. According to him, maintaining a calm and safe environment is the key to advancing development and ensuring the welfare of the people.
“Do not be easily influenced by issues stirred up by individuals or groups, especially those originating from outside Puncak Regency. With security in place, development can move forward for the benefit of everyone,” Abelom Kogoya emphasized.
The tribal leader also underscored that Puncak Regency belongs to all its residents and must be safeguarded collectively.
“Puncak Regency is our shared home. We must protect it together and avoid actions by certain groups that could cause harm or hinder development,” he added.
