Puncak Jaya, Papua — A joyful atmosphere filled the morning in Gurage Village, Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua, on Monday (September 8, 2025), as personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 engaged in a friendly football match with local children. Starting at 09:00 WIT, the event was part of a human-centered approach aimed at fostering closer bonds between the task force and the local community—especially the younger generation.
The participating personnel included Brigpol Rudi, Briptu Yusuf, Bripda Robet, Bripda Khaidir, and Bripda Febrian, all members of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz. With a spirit of camaraderie, they played football with the children on the village field, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Papua’s highlands.
A Moment of Unity and Peace
The presence of police personnel blending in and playing with the children created a deeply meaningful moment. The children’s laughter and radiant smiles reflected the warmth and genuine connection that had been formed. This simple act became a powerful symbol of how peace can grow through sincere and heartfelt interaction.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the activity is part of a continued humanistic strategy to maintain security through empathy and trust-building in Papua.
“This is one of the real manifestations of the spirit behind Operation Peace Cartenz 2025—building emotional closeness with the community to create a peaceful, harmonious, and hopeful Papua,” he stated.

The Deputy Head of the Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., also expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic response from the children and local residents in Gurage Village. According to him, their warm welcome illustrates that heartfelt approaches foster genuine trust.
“The children welcomed our personnel with joy, and our members responded with sincerity. This proves that a heartfelt approach can build a true bridge of trust between law enforcement and the community,” he said.
Through activities like this, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is not only seen as a security force but also as a reliable friend and protector of the people.
