Puncak Jaya, Central Papua – In a continued effort to build trust and strengthen community relations, personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 conducted a friendly visit and interacted with local women, known respectfully as ‘Mama-Mama Papua’, at the Mulia Market in Kulirik District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).
The personnel involved in this community engagement initiative were Second Police Inspector Eroza Feryan Perdana, S.H., and Police First Adjunct Inspector Rafli Abdullah, S.H.
The scene was one of warmth and familiarity as the task force members greeted the local vendors with genuine smiles and friendly conversation. This simple interaction serves a crucial purpose: not only strengthening emotional bonds but also fostering a vital sense of mutual trust between security forces and the community.
Through these humanitarian activities, the task force aims to be present not just as security providers, but as friends and extended family for the people of Papua. The warmth displayed helps create a strong fraternal bond and exemplifies the task force’s dedication to bringing peace and harmony to the region.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025 (Kaops), Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the efforts of his personnel on the ground.
“Humanitarian activities like this are a crucial part of maintaining public trust. The presence of our personnel is not only to maintain security but also to build emotional closeness that fosters a sense of brotherhood within the Papuan community,” stated the Head of Operation.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Operation (Wakaops), Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that such humanitarian efforts are a key part of the strategy to build a conducive atmosphere.
“We want to show that Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 operates with heart. Simple interactions in the market are profoundly meaningful as they act as a bridge to strengthen the sense of safety and peace in Papua,” he said.
The task force reiterates its commitment to continuously carrying out humanitarian programs to strengthen the bonds between security apparatus and the community, thereby helping to maintain security stability in Papua.
