Operation Peace Cartenz Strengthens Partnership with Journalists in Timika

Timika – To foster stronger communication and build closer relations, Operation Peace Cartenz held a friendly gathering with journalists from various media outlets in Timika on Wednesday (August 20). The event took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere.

This initiative reflects the commitment of Operation Peace Cartenz to maintain close cooperation with the press. Through this collaboration, information regarding the Satgas’ duties can be conveyed accurately, objectively, and in a way that builds public trust.

Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized the vital role of the media in supporting Satgas operations. He underlined that the press serves as a strategic partner in delivering accurate and constructive information to the public.

“The media is our strategic partner. Reliable and accurate information helps maintain a conducive environment and strengthens public trust,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed his hope that this gathering will further strengthen cooperation between the Satgas and journalists.

“Through this event, we expect to build even stronger synergy with our fellow journalists in conveying the truth to the public,” stated Chief Comm. Adarma.

In addition, Head of Public Relation, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., noted that the gathering marked an important step in fostering positive collaboration in line with efforts to maintain peace and security in Papua.
