JAYAPURA – Candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua, number 2, Matius D. Fakhiri and Aryoko Rumaropen (Mari-Yo), attended the 6th Regional Conference (Muswil) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Papua, held at Horison Hotel, Kotaraja, Jayapura City, on Sunday (August 24, 2025).
In his remarks, Matius expressed his appreciation and congratulations for the successful convening of the conference. He praised the dedication of PKS cadres, particularly for their strong support of the Mari-Yo pair during the Repeat Voting (PSU) on August 6, 2025.
“First of all, I extend my congratulations on this 6th Regional Conference. PKS has been extraordinary. Since 2024 up to the recent PSU 2025, they have proven to be true fighters and hard workers who sincerely helped us across all districts,” said Matius.
Matius further emphasized the importance of synergy between the vision and mission of PKS and the broader development agenda for Papua. He expressed hope that the spirit and dedication of PKS cadres could be shared more widely for the welfare of Papuan society.
“With the vision and mission of PKS as a guiding principle, we hope to collaborate further. God willing, if entrusted to lead Papua, we will work together to bring prosperity to the people in line with our motto: Papua Bright, Smart, and Prosperous,” he affirmed.
Matius also extended his gratitude for the continuous support of PKS and highlighted the significant role of the party in realizing a more advanced Papua.
“On behalf of myself and my running mate Mari-Yo, I would like to express our gratitude. May PKS continue to thrive in Papua, building and advancing prosperity hand in hand with the people,” he concluded.
