“The Cartenz Peace Task Force has carried out its duties with utmost dedication. They are not just present—they are taking decisive action against KKB, which continues to disrupt public peace. We fully support the steps taken by the Indonesian National Police,” Thimotius asserted.
He described the Task Force as a beacon of hope for Papuans who have long yearned for peace and safety. According to him, the violent acts committed by KKB not only target security forces but also endanger civilians who simply wish to live in peace.
“KKB poses a real threat. They spread fear and violence. We will not remain silent. We stand with the Cartenz Peace Task Force to confront all forms of security disruption,” he declared.
Thimotius also called on all segments of Papuan society to resist being influenced by KKB’s propaganda and provocations. He stressed that public solidarity is essential for effective law enforcement.
“Papua does not need conflict. Papua needs unity. I urge all communities to come together, support our security forces, and reject all forms of provocation from KKB,” he said.
In closing, Thimotius offered prayers for the continued protection and divine blessing upon every mission carried out by the Cartenz Peace Task Force. He expressed confidence that through firm action and collective effort, Papua will become a land of peace and prosperity.
“We stand with the Cartenz Peace Task Force. With hard work and prayer, Papua will find peace. That is our commitment,” he concluded.
