Jayapura — A Papua religious leader, Reverend Herman Waromi, expressed high appreciation for the Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz for its role in creating a safe and peaceful situation in the land of Papua. The statement was delivered on Thursday (August 14, 2025) as a form of moral support for efforts to maintain peace and security in the region.
“As a religious leader, I highly appreciate Operation Peace Cartenz for bringing peace to the people of Papua. Their presence brings new hope for living in harmony and brotherhood,” said Reverend Herman Waromi.
Responding to the appreciation, Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed gratitude and emphasized the task force’s commitment to remain professional and humanistic in serving the community.
“We are grateful for the support of religious leaders and the community. Our duty is not only to enforce the law but also to build trust and maintain peace together,” said Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Head of Public Relation of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added a call for all elements of society to work together in supporting recovery and development efforts.
“We urge all communities to continue giving real support: report disturbances, reject violence, and together let us realize a peaceful, safe, and prosperous Papua,” emphasized Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.
