Jayapura – To foster better communication and strengthen relationships, the Damai Cartenz Task Force held a friendly gathering with journalists from various media outlets in Jayapura City on Thursday (August 14). The event was marked by a warm and cordial atmosphere.
The gathering served as a reflection of the Task Force’s commitment to building strong partnerships with the press. Through closer collaboration, the dissemination of information about the Task Force’s operations is expected to remain accurate, balanced, and trusted by the public.
Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Task Force Commander Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the vital role of the media in supporting the Task Force’s mission. According to him, the media holds a strategic position in ensuring that information shared with the public is accurate, balanced, and constructive.
“The media is our strategic partner. Reliable and accurate information helps maintain a conducive environment and builds public trust,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
At the same event, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., Head of Public Relations for the Damai Cartenz Task Force, expressed hope that this momentum would further strengthen collaboration between the Task Force and journalists.
“Through this gathering, we hope to create stronger synergy with our fellow journalists in delivering truthful information to the public,” said Commissioner Yusuf.
The Task Force’s Public Relations Division views this gathering as an important step toward fostering positive and peaceful collaboration, in line with ongoing efforts to maintain security and public order in Papua.
