Puncak Jaya, Papua — A commendable initiative was carried out by personnel of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz in Kulirik, Mulia District, Puncak Jaya, on Sunday morning (July 28, 2025). The breakfast-sharing activity with schoolchildren, held at 8:00 AM Eastern Indonesia Time, became a heartwarming moment that strengthened bonds between security forces and the community, especially the children. With cheerful faces and excitement, the students eagerly received breakfast packages from the officers, which aimed to encourage their enthusiasm for learning and foster a sense of safety in the school environment.
This activity was conducted to build harmonious relationships between the community and security personnel in the Papua region. It also served as a tangible manifestation of the state’s presence and care for the younger generation in an area that has long been a focus of both security efforts and social development.
The Head of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Task Force, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that such activities would become a regular agenda moving forward.
“This breakfast-sharing initiative will continue to be carried out periodically as a form of our commitment to fostering happiness and harmony between the community and the security forces. We want the people, especially the children, to feel our presence not just as protectors of security, but as part of their extended family here in Papua,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized the importance of nurturing strong social ties from an early age, including with children.
“Maintaining close connections with the community is fundamental — not only with adults, but also with children. They are the future generation of this nation and must be embraced and cared for. Through this humanistic approach, we aim to build trust and inspire hope for a more progressive Indonesia,” explained Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
