Central Papua — The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 once again demonstrated its commitment to building harmonious relations with the people of Papua through a humanistic approach that touches the hearts of local communities. On Sunday (July 13, 2025), social activities were simultaneously carried out in two districts: Paniai and Intan Jaya.
At the Brimob Command Post in Paniai Sector, the activity was led by Bripda Rizki Zulyansyah and Bharada Yudi Setiadi. The focus of the event was to engage warmly with children living around the post. They were invited to play, enjoy snacks together, and given the space to express themselves and feel joy.
The warmth of the moment was evident. Laughter and cheerfulness filled the air as children interacted joyfully with the personnel, reflecting a strong and heartfelt connection between the task force and the community. “These children are the future of Papua. Seeing them smile and feel safe with us is a joy in itself,” said Bripda Rizki.
Meanwhile, in the Intan Jaya Sector, the task force team led by Bripka Sudomo extended their compassion to grieving residents by distributing food supplies. The presence of the personnel in times of sorrow underscored the state’s commitment to being present in all aspects of the people’s lives, including during difficult times.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the mission of the task force is not only to ensure security but also to establish emotional closeness with the local population.
“Our approach is not solely through weapons or tactical operations, but through the heart. We want the community to feel safe, valued, and close to us. This is how we cultivate hope and build peace,” stated Brigadier General Faizal, accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum.
Head of Public Relations of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added that activities like these are vital in fostering healthy communication between security forces and the community.
“We are here as part of the community, not just as peacekeepers. These social initiatives serve as a bridge to strengthen relationships and eliminate any barriers between the security forces and the people,” explained Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
Through genuine acts that directly touch the lives of the people, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 continues to prove that peace in Papua is built not only with strength, but with compassion, kindness, and solidarity.
