Puncak, Central Papua — The Peace Cartenz Task Force 2025 conducted a security patrol while also distributing basic food supplies to residents in Omukia District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Thursday, July 10, 2025. This initiative is part of the task force’s efforts to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public, particularly in areas vulnerable to security disturbances such as Puncak Regency.
The aid packages included rice, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, cooking oil, and tea leaves. Distribution was carried out directly by task force personnel, who approached residents, greeted them, and explained the purpose of their visit before handing over the aid.
The Head of the 2025 Peace Cartenz Operation, Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operations, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that this activity is clear evidence of the state’s presence in promoting peace within the community.
“This demonstrates that the presence of the Peace Cartenz Task Force 2025 brings peace. The community has responded positively to this effort,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Beyond patrolling and aid distribution, this activity also aims to strengthen the relationship between security forces and local communities in creating a conducive and safe environment.
Separately, the Head of Public Relations for the Peace Cartenz Operation, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., urged the residents of Puncak Regency to maintain good communication and cooperation with the security forces.
“Through the presence of the Peace Cartenz Task Force 2025, which not only enforces the law against armed criminal groups (ACGs) but also engages directly in community outreach, it is evident that the security forces are here to protect the people from disturbances and provide a guarantee of safety,” Commissioner Yusuf concluded.
