Among the People, Cartenz Peace Task Force 2025 Brings Security and Aid to Omukia

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, the morning air in Omukia District, Puncak Regency, was still cloaked in a light mist. Yet, something felt different in the village. Uniformed personnel could be seen walking through the neighborhoods, greeting residents one by one with warm smiles and arms carrying packages of essential supplies.

They were part of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2025, and on that day, their mission extended beyond routine security patrols. They came bearing aid for the local community—bags of rice, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, cooking oil, and tea leaves were personally handed out by officers to residents. But it wasn’t just about distributing goods. The personnel took time to chat, explain the reason for their visit, and ensure every family felt seen and cared for.

Behind this activity lay a powerful message: the presence of the state is not merely in the form of policy—it is real, tangible, and felt by the people living in high-risk areas like Puncak.

Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, accompanied by Deputy Commander Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, explained that this effort was clear evidence of how the Task Force brings peace to the community.

“The public has welcomed this positively,” he stated.

For the Task Force, actions like this are not mere routines. More than that, they are steps toward building trust, bridging the relationship between security forces and the people, and creating a safe and peaceful environment amid the shadow of threats from armed criminal groups.

In a separate location, the Head of Public Relations for the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, delivered a message to all residents of Puncak. He urged them to maintain open communication and cooperation with the security forces. According to him, the Task Force is not only present to enforce the law against armed groups (KKB), but also to stand with the community in various social efforts.

“This is a reflection of our commitment to protect and safeguard the people from security threats while ensuring peace in their daily lives,” he said in closing.

That day in Omukia, the sense of safety and peace felt closer—not just because of the presence of armed personnel, but because of the human touch in every step they took.
