Jayawijaya, Highland Papua – In an effort to maintain security stability and strengthen relations with the community, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out patrol and health service activities in Siepkosi District, Jayawijaya Regency, Highland Papua Province, on Tuesday (June 24, 2025).
The activity was directly led by IPTU Muhammad Krisna Dirgantar as Operations Officer of the Enforcement Task Force. The Enforcement Task Force team conducted patrols while directly interacting with local residents and mapping potential security vulnerabilities in the area. At the same time, the Support Task Force also carried out mapping and provided health services to residents in the region.
This combination of security and social service approaches is part of the Operation Peace Cartenz strategy to represent the presence of the state among the people through more humanistic means.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the synergy and dedication of personnel on the ground.
“This activity is a tangible form of the state’s presence to provide both security and services to the community. A humanistic approach like this is essential to building trust and maintaining stability in the Highland Papua region,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relation, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., urged the public to participate in maintaining the safety of their respective environments.
“We invite all communities to work together in maintaining a conducive situation. Report any potential disturbances to the authorities so that they can be addressed immediately. Synergy between the authorities and the community is the key to achieving sustainable peace,” he said.
The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 will continue to conduct patrols, apply a humanistic approach, and provide social services to create a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Papua for all its people.
