Wamena — To ensure security stability and enhance public service delivery, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out a series of activities including patrols, regional mapping, and free healthcare services in Pugima District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Pegunungan Province, on Monday (June 23, 2025).
During the operation, personnel from the task force conducted mobile patrols, greeted and engaged in direct dialogue with local residents. In addition, they conducted area mapping and provided free medical services, reflecting the government’s commitment to the welfare of people in remote Papuan regions.
The initiative was warmly received by residents of Pugima District. Locals expressed their gratitude for the presence of security forces who not only ensure safety but also come with a humane approach and fulfill basic community needs.
Responding to the activity, the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that integrated patrols combined with humanist engagement are part of a long-term strategy to maintain peace and security in Papua.
“Activities like this are a tangible manifestation of our presence—not just to enforce the law, but to foster harmonious relationships with the community. We want the people to feel safe, heard, and cared for,” he emphasized.
The Head of Public Relation, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also emphasized that the presence of the task force is not solely about security but also about building mutual trust.
“We invite the community to continuously work together with us, especially with the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025. This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous Papua. We are here not only to provide protection, but also to deliver services and compassion,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
