Jayapura — The Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses W. Limbong, recently appointed five Acting Heads of Regional Government Agencies (OPD) within the Papua Provincial Government. This appointment is a strategic measure to ensure the smooth operation of governance during the transitional period following regional expansion.
The appointed acting officials are experienced and competent professionals expected to perform their duties with high professionalism. Among the agencies undergoing leadership changes are the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR), Regional Personnel Agency (BKD), and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).
Ramses Limbong emphasized that this inauguration is part of the local government’s efforts to maintain optimal public services while strengthening effective and transparent bureaucratic governance.
This initiative also responds to the need for leadership renewal in several agencies to support the sustainable development programs in Papua Province.
