Papuan Children’s Smiles Inspire Peace: A Gentle Approach by Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz in Mimika

Mimika, Central Papua — In an effort to ground the spirit of peace, the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 continues to prioritize a compassionate and human-centered approach, especially toward Papuan children. One such example took place near PT. Indo Papua in SP2 District, Mimika Regency.

Beyond their duties in maintaining security, personnel from the Public Relations Task Force also serve as friends and guardians. The warmth shared by Briptu Yoga Yandika and Bripda M. Adharmansyah Rumakat with the children symbolizes how emotional connection can become a strong foundation for true safety. Through light-hearted conversations, cheerful smiles, and small treats like candy, they showed that love and peace can be expressed in simple yet sincere ways.

The Head of Public Relation, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that such activities are part of the Task Force’s long-term mission to build strong ties with the local community. “Every smile we see on the faces of these children becomes a new source of strength for us. A peace mission is not only fulfilled through patrols, but also through warm embraces, light conversations, and moments of togetherness,” he said.

Through this approach, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 aims to emphasize that the presence of the state in Papua is not only about enforcing security but also about touching hearts. True security grows where trust, compassion, and genuine love take root.
