Jayapura — In commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2025 carried out a humanitarian event offering free medical services and distributing care packages to residents of Tablasupa Village, RW 1 Amai, Depapre District, Jayapura Regency, Papua, on Wednesday (June 18, 2025).
The activity began at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), led by Second Police Inspector Dr. Chintya Widodo, and supported by personnel from the Health Sub-Task Force and the Public Relations Task Force of Ops Damai Cartenz. Members of the Depapre Police Sector (Polsek) from Jayapura Police Department, including Brigadier Biliy Depondoye, also assisted the event.
Chief of Ops Damai Cartenz, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Chief of Operations, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that this initiative represents the Indonesian National Police’s (Polri) commitment to serving the people of Papua.
“Through this free medical service and care package distribution, we hope the presence of the police will be more deeply felt by the community and strengthen our harmonious relationship,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.
Head of Public Relations Task Force of Ops Damai Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added that the health services provided included general check-ups, free medication, and direct medical consultations, led by Dr. Chintya Widodo and assisted by Nurse Brigadier Yusrianto.
In addition to medical services, the Public Relations Task Force also distributed care packages to children, led by Police Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo, as a form of the police’s social concern for the community.
The people of Tablasupa Village warmly welcomed the event. One of the residents, Oktavina Kisiwaitou, expressed her gratitude for the services provided.
“We thank the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force for offering free medical services to us. We hope events like this will continue in the future for our village,” she said.
Dr. Chintya Widodo also noted the high enthusiasm among the residents and that the event ran smoothly.
“The health service event in celebration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day went off without any issues. We hope this initiative brings real benefit to the people of Papua, especially in Tablasupa Village,” she stated.
The entire event proceeded safely, orderly, and smoothly. Children were seen happily receiving their care packages and check-ups, while adults received the necessary medical services.
This activity embraced the spirit of the 79th Bhayangkara Day in 2025 with the theme “The Police for the People.” Through social and humanitarian approaches, the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2025 remains committed to being present among the people of Papua—not only to ensure security but also to deliver humanitarian services.
