Timika, June 14, 2025 – Secretary of the Village Community Communication Forum (FKMD) of Mimika Regency, Abd. Rachman Nurcholis, popularly known as Arnold Romsumbre, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025. According to him, the operation reflects a firm commitment to maintaining security and stability across the Papua region, particularly in Papua Province, Central Papua, and the Papua Highlands.
Romsumbre specifically highlighted the success of security forces in taking decisive action against groups that threaten public safety, including the identification and arrest of members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB). He described these measures as a tangible form of law enforcement that the public has long expected in order to restore a sense of peace and security.
In his statement, Romsumbre also conveyed his condolences for the loss of lives in the various violent incidents that have occurred throughout Papua. He expressed hope that all efforts under Operation Peace Cartenz will be blessed by Almighty God and supported by all segments of society.
As a community leader, he urged the people of Mimika and Central Papua to strengthen their cooperation with security forces and work together to maintain public order. Romsumbre emphasized the importance of creating a peaceful, just, and dignified environment as part of a shared responsibility to build a better Papua within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
