Mimika – The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 (Ops Damai Cartenz) at the Timika Post organized a humanitarian activity with children at the courtyard of Torsina Elementary School, Mimika Regency, on Thursday afternoon (June 12, 2025). The event served as an effort to foster closer ties with the community through social and educational engagement.
The activity, which began at 5:00 PM Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), was filled with enthusiasm. The children eagerly participated in various games such as kite flying and playing ball, and enjoyed milk and candies distributed for free by the PR Task Force personnel.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025 (Kaops), Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, accompanied by Deputy Head (Wakaops) Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, expressed appreciation for the initiative, viewing it as a form of commitment to build emotional bonds and a sense of safety within the community. They emphasized that a humanitarian approach is key to maintaining peace in Papua.
Head of Public Relations (Kasatgas Humas) Ops Damai Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, stated that social activities like this will continue to be promoted across all posts. The aim is to strengthen public trust in the National Police (Polri) while fostering a safe and secure environment in Papua.
