Mimika – The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 (Ops Damai Cartenz) at the Timika Post once again demonstrated a human-centered approach in building rapport with the community. This time, the personnel held a social interaction activity with children at the courtyard of Torsina Elementary School, Mimika Regency, on Thursday afternoon (June 12, 2025).
The event, which began at 5:00 PM Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), was filled with warmth and joy. Children enthusiastically participated in various games organized by the PR Task Force personnel, such as kite flying, playing ball, and enjoying milk and candies distributed freely by the officers.
This activity represents a tangible form of the Public Relations Task Force’s effort to foster a sense of safety, patriotism, and strengthen emotional bonds between law enforcement and the community, especially children in Papua.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025 (Kaops), Brigadier General of Police (Brigjen Pol) Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Chief Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol) Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the positive activity conducted by the Timika Post PR Task Force.
“Humanitarian outreach is the heart of Operation Peace Cartenz. Through activities like this, we aim to be present not just as security forces, but also as friends to the community. Connecting with children is an investment in the peaceful future of Papua,” he said.
Furthermore, Head of Public Relations Task Force (Kasatgas Humas) Ops Damai Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added that PR task forces at various posts are continually encouraged to actively participate in social activities to strengthen public trust in the National Police (Polri) in Papua.
“This humanitarian activity is expected to have a positive impact in creating a safe and conducive public order and security situation in Papua,” he concluded.
