PAPUA — The repatriation process of two civilian workers who were brutally shot and killed by an Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Kwantapo Village, Asotipo District, Jayawijaya Regency, has proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner.
On Thursday (June 5, 2025), the two bodies — identified as Rahmat Hidayat (45) and Saepudin (39), who were previously confirmed to be residents of Purwakarta Regency, West Java — were flown from Wamena Airport aboard a Trigana Cargo plane, registration number PK-YSV, at approximately 8:45 AM local Papua time (WIT). The remains arrived at Sentani Airport, Jayapura, at 9:40 AM WIT and were immediately transferred to the Garuda Cargo Warehouse for further shipment to Jakarta.
The flight from Sentani Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport was scheduled for the same day at 2:00 PM WIT using Garuda Indonesia cargo services.
