Jayapura City – The Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 carried out a humanitarian initiative through outreach and direct interaction with residents in the coastal area of Hecnuk Beach, Abepura District, and along the roads of Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Papua, on Saturday (May 17).
The activity, which began at 4:00 PM Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), was led by Second Police Inspector Syahrir Mahyuddin.
During the event, members of the Task Force were warmly welcomed by local residents. A friendly and cheerful atmosphere was evident in the interactions between officers and the community, including children who joined in playing and chatting at the event location.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., together with Deputy Head of the Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that this initiative is a reflection of the National Police’s commitment to fostering unity and social harmony among the people of Papua.
In line with that, Head of the Public Relations Division of Operation Peace Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that this humanitarian activity is part of the Task Force’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and strengthen bonds between the police and the local community.
“We are committed to continuously nurturing a sense of unity and social harmony among the people of Papua,” said Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
He added that initiatives like this are part of the Task Force’s persuasive approach to creating a safe and conducive public order through human-centered and dialogical methods.
