Mimika, Papua – A strong commitment to advancing education in Papua was once again demonstrated by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025. On Wednesday (April 30, 2025), two public relations personnel—Brigadier Police First Class Santriawan, S.H., and Brigadier Police Second Class Adharmansyah—carried out an educational outreach activity along Jl. Cenderawasih, Mimika Regency, engaging with students who had just finished their school day.
This initiative is part of the task force’s effort to instill awareness about the importance of education among the young generation of Papua. In a relaxed yet meaningful atmosphere, the officers delivered key messages on maintaining personal health, avoiding negative influences, and staying motivated to pursue education as a path to a brighter future.
“We want to emphasize that education is the key to unlocking a better future. Children in Papua need continuous support so they can grow and develop the confidence to face life’s challenges,” said Briptu Santriawan during the dialogue with students.
As a form of psychosocial support, the personnel also distributed snacks and light refreshments. Though simple, these moments served as an effective medium to build rapport with the students while informally delivering educational messages that leave a lasting impression.
Operation Peace Cartenz is widely known for its humanistic approach in every aspect of its mission. The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that one of the task force’s primary missions is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children—especially in supporting their education.
“The presence of the state should not be limited to protection alone but also as a supporter of the younger generation’s progress. Direct education and social engagement like this are essential in building trust and encouraging students to stay motivated in their learning journey,” stated Brigjen Faizal.
Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., who serves as the Head of Public Relation for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, further highlighted the inseparable link between education and character development. He stressed the importance of synergy among law enforcement, schools, and families.
“We call on all elements of society to become educators in their communities. Let’s protect and guide our children to remain on a positive path, because they are the future leaders of Papua,” he affirmed.
Parents and local residents who witnessed the interaction responded positively. They expressed appreciation for the officers’ presence—not just as security personnel, but as partners in fostering children’s enthusiasm for learning.
Through an approach grounded in education and empathy, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 continues to demonstrate that building a sense of security begins with small yet meaningful actions—touching the hearts of Papua’s future generation.
