Mimika, Central Papua – In the midst of efforts to maintain security stability in Papua, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz continues to strengthen social relations with the community. Wednesday (4/30/2025), two Public Relations Task Force personnel, Briptu Santriawan, S.H., and Bripda Adharmansyah, made a humanist approach by greeting and having a casual dialogue with school children on Cenderawasih Street, Mimika Regency.
This activity is not just light counseling. In a familiar atmosphere, the students are invited to talk about the importance of maintaining health, avoiding negative associations in the community, and cultivating the spirit of learning for the future. As a form of attention, the personnel also distributed snacks, creating a sincere family atmosphere among the officers and the young generation of Papua.
“We want children to feel that the country is present for them, supporting them to grow into a smart and strong generation,” said Briptu Santriawan.
Head of Public Relations Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that the social approach is an important part of Papua’s security strategy. “We want the apparatus to appear not only as guards, but also as friends of the community, especially children,” he said.
In line with that, the Deputy Public Relations Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K., emphasized the importance of collaboration between the apparatus and the community to build a positive environment.
“We invite all parties to protect the young generation from various bad influences. These children are the future of Papua, let’s take care of them together,” he said.
The student welcomed the steps of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force. He hopes that this kind of humanitarian activity will continue to be encouraged as part of strengthening emotional and social relationships between the state and the community, especially students.
Through a touch of love and a humanist approach, the Cartenz Peace Task Force proves that maintaining Papua is not only through strength, but also through love, care, and real presence in the midst of community life.
