Operation Peace Cartenz Spreads Warmth, Nduga Children Welcome the Presence of Female Police Officers

Nduga, Papua — The humanistic approach continues to be intensified by personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025. One heartwarming moment was seen when Bripda Natria Akhirul, a female police officer from the Nduga Sector, engaged with schoolchildren in the area on Saturday (April 26, 2025).

As the children were leaving school, Bripda Natria approached a group of students warmly. She greeted them, engaged in light-hearted conversation, and motivated them to study diligently and pursue their dreams. The friendly atmosphere grew even livelier when she invited the children to take photos together, creating joyful moments filled with laughter and smiles.

“Through simple gestures like this, we want children to feel that the presence of police officers is to protect them and to be their friends,” said Bripda Natria after the activity.

The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operations Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for this humanistic action.

“Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz prioritizes persuasive and humanistic approaches as its core. The presence of the police in Papua must bring a sense of security, peace, and hope for a better future, especially for the younger generation,” stated Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani.

The Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., also expressed his appreciation. He emphasized that humanistic approaches like the one carried out by Bripda Natria are a true reflection of the commitment to build public trust.

“We want Papuan children to grow up with trust in state authorities, understanding that security is a shared responsibility, and that harmonious relationships must always be maintained,” explained Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.

This activity is part of the broader strategy of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz to strengthen the relationship between security forces and the community, particularly the younger generation. Through humanistic and persuasive engagement, it is hoped that a sense of safety, trust, and belonging to the nation will be nurtured.

The local community in Nduga warmly welcomed this initiative and hoped that such interactions would continue regularly, to further strengthen the emotional bond between residents and security forces and to realize a peaceful and harmonious situation throughout Papua.
