Timika – The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out a humanitarian activity with children in the Agimuga Mill 32 area, Mimika Regency, on Thursday (April 24), as part of efforts to strengthen community ties and present a more humanist image of the Indonesian National Police in Papua.
Two personnel from the Public Relations Task Force, Bripda Irgi Alamsyah from the Police Public Relations Division and Bripda Alfesa Hafiz from Banten Regional Police, were seen warmly engaging with local Papuan children in a relaxed and cheerful setting.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025 (Kaops), Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, stated that the event reflects the police’s humanitarian mission in Papua.
“This activity aims to maintain close ties between the security forces and the community, especially children in Papua. It also serves as a clear representation of our personnel’s humanist presence in society,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relation (Kasatgas Humas) Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, added that such initiatives are essential to build public trust in the police.
“We want to foster mutual trust between security forces and the community. This is a direct form of service from Operation Peace Cartenz personnel, with real, positive impact especially on traders and children,” he explained.
The activity, carried out in a warm and informal atmosphere, is expected to continue regularly as part of a sustainable social engagement strategy in Papua.
