Puncak Jaya – Members of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz 2025 organized a community outreach event by providing free haircuts for children in the Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Highland Papua, on Wednesday (April 23, 2025).
The event was warmly welcomed by the local community. Dozens of children eagerly lined up in an orderly fashion to receive haircuts from task force personnel, who had been specially trained to deliver the service. In addition to building closer relationships with local residents, this activity also reflects a more human-centered presence of security personnel within the community.
Brigadier General Dr. Faisal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Head of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz 2025, attended the event alongside Deputy Task Force Head, Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum. He emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader social engagement strategy aimed at fostering a sense of safety and comfort in the operational area.
“We want to show that our presence is not just about maintaining security, but also about caring for the well-being of the community, especially children who are the future of this nation,” he stated.
Echoing his remarks, Task Force Public Relations Chief, Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added that this kind of social initiative helps strengthen emotional bonds between the task force and the community.
“Through simple services like free haircuts, we aim to build social connections and foster mutual trust. This is a form of service that brings immediate benefits to the people,” he explained.
