Nduga, April 22, 2025 – In commemoration of Kartini Day, personnel from Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 conducted a community-centered patrol in Kenyam City, Nduga Regency. Taking place on Tuesday morning (22/4), the activity focused not only on maintaining public security but also on offering social assistance, especially to school children.
Unlike conventional patrols, this initiative emphasized a humanist approach. Officers were seen helping children cross the streets safely, offering encouragement, and ensuring a sense of security as they made their way to school.
The activity was led by the Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operations, Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum. Field patrols included personnel such as Bripda Dinda Charelina, Bripda Abel, Bripda Soekreshno, Bripda Jordy, and Bripda Mursalin.
Starting from the Koteka Post, the patrol moved through residential areas and school zones in Kenyam District, located in the Papua Highlands.
The patrol coincided with Kartini Day on Tuesday morning, April 22, 2025. According to Brig. Gen. Faizal, the initiative represents a modern interpretation of Kartini’s spirit—serving without boundaries and caring for the younger generation’s education. “Kartini Day is not just for women; it serves as a reminder for all public servants to be present, to protect, and to empower,” he stated.
Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, emphasized that the presence of police in the community strengthens public trust and emotional bonds. “Children who feel safe and accompanied on their way to school will grow up with a positive perception of the police and the state,” he noted.
By embracing the spirit of Kartini through a compassionate approach, the Indonesian National Police, via Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, demonstrates that security and social care can go hand-in-hand to build a brighter future in Papua.
