TIMIKA, INDONESIA – The administration of Torsina Elementary School in Timika has expressed deep appreciation for the visit conducted by the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 on Wednesday (May 16). The visit left a lasting impression on students, teachers, and the broader school community, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere of learning and connection.
During the visit, Bripda Annisa, a member of the Task Force’s Public Relations Unit, engaged directly with students through a series of educational games and interactive activities held in the schoolyard. Known for her friendly and approachable demeanor, especially with children, her presence brought smiles and laughter throughout the event.
Wearing their scout uniforms, the students eagerly participated in each activity. Through play and interaction, they learned important values such as unity, patriotism, empathy, and mutual respect.
Torsina Elementary School Principal, Mrs. Yeri, expressed her gratitude to the entire Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 team for taking the time to connect with the children and share in their joy.
“This visit truly touched our hearts. The children were visibly happy and felt valued. We believe this experience will help shape their positive perspective on their surroundings,” said Yeri.
She further added her hope that similar programs would continue, emphasizing the direct and meaningful impact the activities had on the students.
“We are thankful for the thoughtful gifts and the care shown to our students. May every member of the task force be blessed in their noble duties and continue to serve as role models for our communities,” she said.
This visit is part of the broader human-centered approach embraced by Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, which aims not only to ensure security in the region but also to strengthen social ties and contribute to character-building among Papua’s younger generation.
The school hopes that such collaborations between the education sector and law enforcement will continue to grow, fostering a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for children across Papua.
