AKBP Sukamat, as the Intelligence Task Force Commander, held an open‑dialogue session with officers and non‑commissioned personnel at the Tindak Mako Task Force Post. He emphasized the importance of sharing local intelligence—such as patrol routes prone to landslides and areas with no signal—as a proactive measure to suppress potential security disturbances. “We need to ensure that information from the community can be accessed quickly, so that responses can be carried out immediately,” he explained.
Meanwhile, AKBP Agus Waluyo toured the Banops logistics, inspecting everything from patrol motorcycle fuel stocks to the availability of radio spare parts. He also led a brief simulation on how to use portable repeaters and set up high‑gain antennas, so that every member—especially those stationed in remote camps—knows how to keep communications stable in difficult terrain.
The visit wasn’t purely technical. In an informal meeting at the field canteen, the Assistance Team listened to personnel’s feedback—from challenges in accessing clean water to the need for mental‑health support while serving far from home. “We’ve noted every suggestion and will report them to the leadership to prepare facility improvements and a more humane rotation scheme,” said AKBP Lapian.
The entire assistance series ran smoothly, safely, and without major obstacles, demonstrating the high level of readiness among all units in the field. Armed with comprehensive data and a spirit of mutual cooperation, the Ops Damai Cartenz‑2025 team is optimistic that the next phase will be even more effective in delivering stability and a sense of security to the people of Pegunungan Bintang.
