As part of its effort to bring services closer to the people and improve the quality of life in remote areas, the Damai Cartenz Task Force held a health outreach program in the Pegunungan Bintang region of Papua Pegunungan Province. This activity is part of the humanitarian program of the Damai Cartenz Task Force, which focuses not only on security but also on community welfare.
Navigating through challenging terrain and limited access routes, task force personnel, together with medical teams, traveled into the interior regions carrying medical supplies and equipment. The services provided included general health check-ups, free medication, vitamin distribution for children, and educational sessions on the importance of hygiene and environmental health.
The local community welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm. Residents from various villages came to receive medical services that are otherwise difficult to access due to the lack of healthcare facilities in the area. The presence of the task force not only brought much-needed services but also a sense of security and care from the government.
The Task Force Commander stated that this program would continue regularly as a tangible form of concern for the people of Papua, particularly in the Pegunungan Bintang area. Damai Cartenz Task Force is committed to being present not only as guardians of security but also as friends of the people in building a peaceful, healthy, and prosperous Papua.
