Yahukimo – Amid the series of assistance activities by the Ops Damai Cartenz 2025 Task Force in Yahukimo Regency on Monday (April 7), special attention was given to the health conditions of personnel in the field. One of the main agendas of this visit was the health check and medical services led directly by First Police Inspector Dr. Chintya Widodo, the Task Force’s assigned doctor.
At the Task Force Post in Kali Buatan and the Sekla Tactical Post, Dr. Chintya conducted thorough medical examinations for the on-duty personnel, including blood pressure checks, general health assessments, and light medical treatment for those experiencing complaints.
“This healthcare service is crucial to ensure that all personnel are in peak condition. They are working in areas with tough terrain and high-pressure duties, so we need to monitor their physical condition and prevent potential health issues early,” Dr. Chintya explained.
During the checkups, Dr. Chintya found several personnel experiencing minor issues such as physical exhaustion, sleep disturbances, and joint pain due to field activities. Prompt treatment was provided and tailored to each individual’s condition.
In addition to the checkups, Dr. Chintya also provided education on the importance of maintaining post hygiene and a healthy lifestyle.
“We urge all personnel to keep their living areas and personal equipment clean. It may seem simple, but it’s extremely important in preventing illness, especially in an operational setting like this,” she said.
The health services were part of a broader support mission led by Kaminops Ops Damai Cartenz 2025, Police Grand Commissioner Cliffry Steiny Lapian, S.I.K., alongside Intelligence Task Force Head Police Grand Commissioner Sukamat, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., and Banops Task Force Head Police Grand Commissioner Agus Waluyo, S.I.K. The activities included briefings, motivational support, equipment readiness checks, and health services as a form of comprehensive support for frontline personnel.
This assistance effort is a tangible expression of the Ops Damai Cartenz Task Force’s concern for the physical and mental well-being of its members, aiming to ensure that security duties in Papua can continue effectively and humanely.
