As of today, a total of 15 bodies of victims of the atrocities committed by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) calling themselves Kodap XVI Yahukimo and Kodap III Ndugama have been successfully evacuated by the joint team of the Cartenz Peace Operation along with the Yahukimo Police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The victims were found at several locations in gold mining areas.
The latest evacuation today includes three bodies from Area 22 gold mining Yahukimo, Area 33 gold mining Yahukimo, and Tanjung Pamali. These three are currently at the Dekai Regional General Hospital for further identification by the medical and health unit of the National Police and the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team.
The details of the locations where the 15 bodies were found are as follows:
3 bodies from the Tanjung Pamali crime scene
5 bodies from two locations in Bingki Village
3 bodies from Area 22 gold mining Yahukimo
1 body from Area 33 gold mining Yahukimo
1 body from the Muara Kum crime scene
1 body from the Pegunungan Bintang District crime scene
1 body from the Kepala Air Mumok area
In addition, two survivors have been found in Tanjung Pamali, namely Johanis Adu and Suwito, both of whom have been evacuated to Dekai and are currently receiving medical care and psychological support.
The identities of the 12 identified bodies are as follows:

Yuda Lesmana — rented house on Jalan Paradiso, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Riki Rahmat — Ranomolua Village, Besulutu Subdistrict, Konawe District, Southeast Sulawesi Province (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Muhammad Arif — rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Safaruddin — rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Abdur Raffi Batu Bara — rented house at Jalur II housing, Dekai (crime scene at Camp Muradala, Bingki Village)
Stefanus Gisbertus — Tala Village, Seram Barat District, Maluku (crime scene at Tanjung Pamali)

Ariston Kamma — Tantanan, Tallunglipu, South Sulawesi (crime scene at Pegunungan Bintang District)
Rusli — Buti Village, Merauke District, Papua (crime scene at Area 22 gold mining Yahukimo)
The three additional bodies evacuated today are still undergoing reconciliation by the DVI team of the National Police.
Deputy Chief of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that the evacuation process was carried out by a joint personnel team from the Cartenz Peace Operation, Yahukimo Police, and TNI.
“Throughout the process, the evacuation of the bodies has proceeded safely, and identification has been carried out. We will continue to strive to find other victims and pursue the perpetrators,” he said on Monday (April 14).
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations Task Force of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Kombes Pol Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., mentioned that the victims’ families have been actively involved in the identification process.
“As of now, we have handed over 12 out of 15 bodies to the families. We also provide comprehensive support for the victims’ families,” Yusuf said.
The Cartenz Peace Operation task force emphasizes that they will continue the process of evacuation, victim identification, and pursuit of the perpetrators of the brutality that threatens civilian safety.
