Papua Tengah – The Provincial Government of Papua Tengah has expressed high appreciation for the significant contribution of the KINGMI Church (Kirkah Injil di Minyak) in enhancing Human Resources (HR) in the region. This appreciation was conveyed during an event held on Monday, April 7, 2023, attended by community leaders, church leaders, and government officials.
The Governor of Papua Tengah, Meki Nawipa, emphasized the commitment of the KINGMI Church in educating and mentoring the youth of Papua Tengah in his speech. “The KINGMI Church is not only focused on religious activities but is also actively involved in implementing educational and training programs that empower the community. Through various initiatives, this church has played a significant role in improving the quality of life and capacity of human resources in this region,” said Governor Nawipa.
The event also served as a platform to present several flagship programs of the KINGMI Church, including skills training, formal education, and social activities that educate the community about the importance of health and education. These activities are expected to open job opportunities and encourage community participation in regional development.
The Head of the Education and Culture Office of Papua Tengah, Marten Ukago, added that all efforts made by the KINGMI Church align with the Provincial Government’s vision to improve access to education and the quality of human resources in Papua Tengah. “We invite all elements of society and other institutions to work together to support these efforts. Collaboration between the government and the church is crucial in creating a better future for our children,” explained Ukago.
As a form of appreciation, the Provincial Government of Papua Tengah is committed to continuing its partnership with the KINGMI Church in implementing programs that benefit the community. It is hoped that through this cooperation, the church’s role in human resource development can be further optimized, enabling the people of Papua Tengah to better face future challenges.
