Puncak Jaya – The social service activities carried out by the Task Force Operasi Peace 2025 not only address humanitarian concerns but also serve as a strategic effort to foster lasting peace. More than simply distributing aid, the initiative aims to de-escalate tensions arising from the ongoing conflict.
With a humanistic approach, the Task Force hopes to create space for dialogue, build collective awareness, and restore harmony within the community. One of the most touching moments was when displaced children received care packages from Task Force personnel. Their small laughs and sincere smiles reflected the powerful impact of empathy in the midst of hardship.
Chief of Task Force Operasi Peace 2025, Brig. Gen. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that security operations in Papua are not solely focused on law enforcement, but also on cultivating a sense of safety grounded in trust and compassion.
“We believe that a humanistic approach is the key to restoring true peace. That is the principle we uphold in every step of this operation,” he stated.
This social service activity included the distribution of food, vitamins, and medical services. The enthusiasm of the local community toward the presence of the Task Force Operasi Peace was clearly evident. Through this initiative, the 2025 operation reaffirmed that the presence of the state in Papua is not just as a stabilizing force, but also as a protector, guide, and friend to its people—part of a greater effort to build a peaceful, just, and hopeful Papua.
