Sugapa, Intan Jaya – Personnel of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz celebrated Eid al-Fitr in Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, with a strong sense of togetherness on Wednesday (April 2). The celebration, while simple, was full of meaning, highlighted by a communal meal involving personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025.
Although far from their families, the personnel still felt the warmth of togetherness through the shared experience of enjoying traditional Eid dishes. In a friendly atmosphere, they gathered under a simple tent to serve and enjoy food together.
The aroma of freshly cooked dishes added to the warmth of the moment, reflecting the values of mutual cooperation and solidarity among them.
The Head of Public Relations of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that this event was a manifestation of unity and care for one another, especially in their operational areas.
“We want to show that no matter where we are stationed, the bond of brotherhood remains, and togetherness is always a priority, especially on this blessed day,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
In addition to being a religious celebration, the event also served as a means to strengthen the relationship between security personnel and the local community. Their presence in the midst of the residents is hoped to create a more harmonious and conducive atmosphere in Intan Jaya.
“For personnel celebrating Eid far from their families, moments like this provide comfort and serve as a reminder that their duties are not just about maintaining security, but also building trust and closeness with the community,” added the Head of Public Relations.
The atmosphere of togetherness is expected to further strengthen the synergy between security forces and the local population in maintaining stability and peace in Papua.
