Sugapa, Intan Jaya – The Damai Cartenz Task Force celebrated Eid al-Fitr in Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, with a strong sense of togetherness on Wednesday (April 2). The celebration was simple yet meaningful, marked by a communal meal involving joint personnel from the 2025 Damai Cartenz Task Force.
Despite being far from their families, task force personnel still felt the warmth of camaraderie through the shared experience of enjoying traditional Eid dishes. In a friendly atmosphere, they gathered under a simple tent, preparing and enjoying meals together.
The steam rising from freshly cooked food added to the warmth of the occasion, reflecting the values of teamwork and solidarity among them.
The Head of Public Relations for the Damai Cartenz Task Force, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that this event was a symbol of unity and care among personnel, especially in their operational area.
“We want to show that no matter where we serve, the bonds of brotherhood remain strong, and togetherness remains a priority, especially on this blessed day,” said Commissioner Yusuf.
Beyond being a religious celebration, the event also served as a means to strengthen the relationship between task force personnel and the local community. Their presence among the residents is expected to foster a more harmonious and peaceful atmosphere in Intan Jaya.
“For personnel celebrating Eid far from their families, moments like this provide comfort and a reminder that their duty is not only to maintain security but also to build trust and closeness with the community,” added the Head of Public Relations.
The spirit of togetherness fostered in this event is expected to further strengthen the synergy between the task force and residents in maintaining stability and peace in Papua.
