Timika – Amid the implementation of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2025, personnel from the Public Relations Task Force at the Timika Command Post demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity as they celebrated Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri on Monday (31/3). This event served as both a morale booster for the personnel on duty and a symbol of unity in carrying out the mission of the operation, which prioritizes a humanistic approach.
The celebration began with a joint prayer led by Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K., and attended by several Public Relations Task Force personnel, including Briptu Yoga Yandika, S.H., Briptu Santriawan, S.H., Bripda Irgi Alamsyah, Bripda Alfesa Hafiz, and Bripda Annisa Mahardika. The prayer was not only an expression of gratitude for the arrival of Eid but also a reminder of the importance of unity in fulfilling their duties to maintain security and public communication stability in Papua.
After the prayer, the personnel continued the event with a communal meal, fostering a warm atmosphere amidst the demands of their mission. Despite being far from their families, this moment demonstrated that solidarity among personnel remains strong, in line with the values upheld by the Peaceful Cartenz Operation.
A particularly touching moment was when Bripda Irgi Alamsyah, who serves in the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, continued to carry out his duties while making time to connect with his family via video call. This reflected the personnel’s commitment to professionalism while still cherishing the significance of Eid.
Deputy Head of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2025, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the personnel’s unity in celebrating Eid meaningfully.
“This spirit of togetherness reflects the moral strength essential for carrying out our operational duties. Physical strength alone is not enough; we must also maintain our mental resilience and team solidarity, as these are the keys to staying strong,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Head of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2025 Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that Eid should serve as a moment of reflection for all personnel to continue performing their duties with a humanistic approach.
“I urge all public relations personnel to uphold humanitarian values in every interaction with the community. Moments like this should remind us that our duty is not only to maintain security but also to build a calming and informative communication channel,” he asserted.
With the Eid al-Fitr celebration at the Timika Command Post running smoothly and orderly, this event stands as proof that the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2025 is not solely focused on security strategies but also prioritizes the morale and solidarity of its personnel—a crucial foundation in fostering peace in Papua.
