Merauke – The Governor of South Papua, Apolo Safanpo, invited all elements of the community, especially the residents of Spadem in Merauke District, to strengthen friendship and togetherness in building South Papua Province. This invitation was conveyed by the Governor when attending the Ramadan Safari held by the South Papua Provincial Government at the Nurul Huda Spadem Mosque, Merauke Regency.
In this activity, Governor Apolo Safanpo was accompanied by the Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of South Papua, Maddaremmeng, and the local Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda). Their presence shows the government’s commitment in strengthening relations with the community and strengthening the values of togetherness in the midst of diversity.
In his speech, the Governor of Apolo emphasized the importance of unity and tolerance in the midst of the diversity of the South Papuan people.
“Let’s all reunite and establish a bond of friendship by maintaining unity and unity, mutual respect, and respect for religious communities. Together, we can build South Papua to be more advanced and prosperous,” said Governor Apolo Safanpo.
Furthermore, he invited the public to continue to maintain the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity in community life, especially in supporting development in South Papua. According to him, collaboration between the government and the community is the main key in realizing a more developed and harmonious region.
As a form of caring for the community, this Ramadan Safari is also accompanied by the delivery of gifts and chili seeds to the residents. In addition, the government also provides building material assistance to support the construction of the Nurul Huda Spadem Mosque. This assistance is expected to help the community in improving worship facilities and encouraging better religious activities.
Through this activity, the South Papua Provincial Government emphasized that building the area is not only done through physical development, but also by strengthening brotherhood, togetherness, and social and religious values. Governor Apolo Safanpo hopes that this momentum can further strengthen the relationship between the government and the community in realizing a more peaceful, advanced, and prosperous South Papua.
