Jayapura, March 19, 2025 – The Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., along with his team, distributed takjil (Ramadan snack) to worshippers at the Fajrul Islam Mosque in Kota Raja, Wahno Village, on Wednesday (March 19). The event, which took place from 5:00 PM WIT until completion, was marked by a spirit of togetherness and social care.
Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo stated that the distribution of takjil is part of the efforts of the Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Public Relations Task Force to spread the blessings of Ramadan and strengthen ties with the local community. In addition to helping worshippers prepare for Iftar, this activity also aimed to enhance the relationship between the police and the public.
“Ramadan is a time for sharing and strengthening social bonds. We hope that this activity brings benefits and blessings to the community,” he said.
The local community welcomed the takjil distribution with enthusiasm. Beyond being a form of care, the event also served as a means to reinforce the values of unity within the society.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Brigadier Jenderal of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the event is a tangible expression of the Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 Task Force’s care for the Muslim community in Papua.
“Our hope is that this takjil-sharing initiative can unite people in an atmosphere full of blessings during Ramadan. Peace for Papua is our top priority,” he concluded.
