On this occasion, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo emphasized that the distribution of iftar meals was not merely a social initiative but also an effort to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the community. He noted that Ramadan is the perfect time to foster compassion and reinforce togetherness among people.
“Ramadan is a blessed time when we are taught to share and strengthen social relationships. We hope this initiative not only helps the community prepare for iftar but also serves as a means to strengthen the bond between the police and the public,” said Cheif Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.
He further added that through such activities, the police aim to show that their presence is not limited to law enforcement but also extends to humanitarian efforts that contribute to social welfare.
By fostering direct interaction between law enforcement and the community through the distribution of iftar meals, it is hoped that mutual trust and respect will grow stronger, creating a more harmonious and peaceful environment.
