Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., as the Chief of Public Relations for the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, along with his team, organized an iftar meal distribution event at the Fajrul Islam Mosque, located in Kota Raja, Wahno Village, Jayapura. The event, held on Wednesday afternoon (March 19), began at 5:00 PM local time and fostered a warm sense of harmony and togetherness within the community.
Kombes Pol. Yusuf explained that this initiative was part of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz’s efforts to spread the blessings of Ramadan and strengthen relationships between the police force and the local community. “This activity not only supports worshippers preparing to break their fast but also serves as a bridge of connection between us and the residents,” he stated.
The initiative was warmly received by the mosque’s congregation, who expressed enthusiasm for the iftar meal distribution as a show of care from the security forces. More than just providing food, the event reflected the values of togetherness and social compassion that are especially significant during this blessed month.
Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., the Head of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting social engagement among Muslims in Papua. “We hope that this sharing activity can unite the community in a spirit of blessing during Ramadan.
