Pegunungan Bintang – Personnel from the Peace Operations Task Force, Cartenz-2025, conducted security measures during the Sunday service at Bethel Indonesia Church in Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency. Their presence aimed to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the worship service for the congregation.
The Deputy Chief of Peace Operations Task Force 2025, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of a humanistic approach in every security operation. He stated that the personnel’s presence was not only to maintain security but also to foster harmonious relationships with the local community.
“We want to show that the Peace Operations Task Force is here not just to secure the area but also to build close bonds with the community,” said Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga. He expressed hope that through active involvement in religious activities, the relationship between the security forces and the community could grow even stronger.
The security provided during the Sunday service is part of the Cartenz-2025 Task Force’s efforts to create a conducive environment in the Pegunungan Bintang region. Previously, Task Force personnel had also participated in various other religious activities, such as giving lectures before Taraweeh prayers at Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Oksibil, aiming to strengthen ties with the local population.
The community of Oksibil welcomed the presence of the Task Force personnel at religious activities. They felt safer and more comfortable while conducting their worship and appreciated the humanistic approach adopted by the security forces. It is hoped that this initiative will continue to strengthen cooperation between the community and the security forces in maintaining peace and order in the region.
