Yalimo – As a demonstration of their concern for the community, personnel from the Peace Cartenz 2025 Task Force once again carried out a social initiative by distributing basic food supplies to residents of Yalimo Regency, Papua, on Friday (7/3).
The Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz, Cheif Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that this initiative is part of an ongoing humanitarian program aimed at assisting those in need.
“We want to ensure that the state is always present for the people of Papua, not only in law enforcement but also through social care. We hope this aid can be beneficial and further strengthen the bond between the police and the community,” said Cheif Commissioner Yusuf.
During the activity, police personnel distributed food packages containing rice, instant noodles, and other essential supplies. The residents who received the assistance expressed their gratitude and appreciation.
One of the recipients, Mr. Mathius, a resident of Yalimo, shared his gratitude for the police’s support.
“This assistance means a lot to us. Thank you to the officers who have shown care for our situation,” he said.
In addition to distributing aid, the personnel of Operation Peace Cartenz also took the opportunity to engage in conversations with the residents, listen to their concerns, and build closer communication. This initiative is expected to strengthen relations between the police and the local community while promoting a more stable and peaceful environment in Papua.
Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 focuses not only on law enforcement against armed criminal groups (KKB) but also emphasizes a humanitarian approach through various social programs.
With initiatives like this, it is hoped that public trust in security forces will continue to grow, fostering a safer, more peaceful, and prosperous Papua.
