Representatives of PKC Papua Cipayung Plus Support the Implementation of Safe and Peaceful Ramadan

Jayapura – Representative of the Papua Cipayung Plus Branch Coordinator (PKC), Afrizal expressed full support for the creation of a safe, peaceful, and comfortable Ramadan holy month atmosphere for all Muslims in Papua, especially in Papua Province.

This statement was conveyed by Afrizal when attending a meeting with youth organizations and local community leaders. On that occasion, he emphasized that the spirit of tolerance between religious communities in Papua has been closely intertwined for a long time, becoming the main foundation in maintaining harmony in the region.

According to Afrizal, anyone, whether youth, religious figures, or security personnel, has an important role in maintaining stability and harmony during the month of Ramadhan. Therefore, he invited all elements of society to continue to strengthen unity and mutual respect for each other.

This support reflects the importance of maintaining a tolerant attitude in the midst of Papua’s diversity, so that all religious people can carry out their worship calmly and full of devotion.

In addition, Afrizal also emphasized that dialogue between religious communities, coordination with security parties, and youth involvement in maintaining a conducive social environment are concrete steps that must continue to be strengthened.

In his statement, Afrizal also added that maintaining harmony is not only the responsibility of one group, but must be a joint commitment.

“We all have a responsibility to keep Papua peaceful, especially in the holy month of Ramadhan. Tolerance and mutual respect are not just slogans, but must be realized in real action. Let’s together create a conducive atmosphere so that our brothers and sisters who practice fasting can worship calmly and full of blessings,” said Afrizal.

Afrizal’s statement received a positive response from various circles who welcomed the invitation to continue maintaining harmony. With the synergy between the community, youth, and security forces, it is hoped that the holy month of Ramadhan in Papua can take place peacefully and full of blessings.
