Entering Seram Region, Ops Damai Cartenz Public Relations Task Force Chief Provides Motivation to Personnel

Oksibil- In an effort to strengthen synergy and provide moral support to personnel, the Chief of Public Relations for Ops Damai Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., conducted a working visit to two Brimob posts in Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Highland Papua Province, on Tuesday (2/11). 

The visit included Brimob Kotaraja Post in Serambakon District and the RRI Brimob Ops Damai Cartenz Post in Oksibil. Besides offering motivation, this visit also aimed to assess field conditions and strengthen relations between security forces and the local community. 

During his visit to the Brimob Kotaraja Post, Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo was accompanied by Pegunungan Bintang Police Chief, AKBP Anto Seven, S.I.K., M.H. He expressed appreciation for the dedication and hard work of personnel operating in a region with challenging terrain. 

“We highly appreciate the spirit and dedication of our colleagues here. The geographical challenges are tough, but you remain committed to maintaining security and order in this area. This kind of spirit must be upheld,” he stated in his briefing. 

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of fostering good communication with the community. “Security is not solely the responsibility of law enforcement but also requires active participation from the community. Therefore, build harmonious relationships to ensure regional stability,” he added. 

After leaving Serambakon, the delegation continued their journey to the RRI Brimob Post in Oksibil. At this location, the Public Relations Task Force Chief directly inspected the post’s condition and engaged in dialogue with personnel to hear their aspirations. 

In his speech, Commissioner Yusuf reiterated that the duties entrusted to personnel are not just routine work but also a form of service to the nation. “You are at the frontline in maintaining security. The difficult terrain is undoubtedly a challenge, but we must remain united, adaptable, and committed to our responsibilities,” he stressed. 

He also encouraged the use of technology to support security operations. “The ever-changing field conditions require us to think creatively and flexibly. Utilize the available resources optimally and do not hesitate to report any issues to leadership for prompt solutions,” he said. 

Concluding his visit, the Public Relations Task Force Chief reminded personnel to maintain their health and physical fitness. “Strong physical and mental well-being are key to carrying out your duties effectively. Stay motivated and keep your body in good condition to perform your duties optimally,” he concluded. 

This visit is expected to further motivate personnel and strengthen cooperation between security forces and the community, ensuring that security and stability in Pegunungan Bintang remain well-maintained.
