Yalimo, Papua – Ops Damai Cartenz personnel, AKP Safri, conducted a community outreach and dialogue with residents of Hobakma Village, Elelim District, Yalimo Regency. During this occasion, he delivered public safety (Kamtibmas) messages to maintain security and order in the area. (February 5, 2025)
“This activity is part of the security forces’ persuasive approach to building trust and cooperation with the local community,” he stated.
The presence of security personnel is expected to create a conducive situation and raise public awareness of maintaining security stability.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commander of Ops Damai Cartenz, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., explained that such activities are one of the strategies to keep Papua safe and peaceful.
“We continue to strive to build good communication with the community to foster a harmonious relationship between security forces and residents,” he said.
Through the 2025 Damai Cartenz Operation, the police also encourage the public to play an active role in ensuring security in their respective environments and to report any potential public safety disturbances immediately.
